Azienda Agricola La Dispensa

In an agricultural context of 17 hectares consisting of olive trees, pastures and woods, on a hill overlooking the typical Tuscan landscape of Lamporecchio (Pistoia), we find Azienda Agricola La Dispensa. The restructuring of La Dispenda started with the reconstruction of the old stable, starting from the existing structure and adopting new concept solutions to better accommodate the flock of sheep and other production areas such as the mill and the dairy.

The east side of the stone farmhouse was used as a B&B: on two levels, with a large living room with fireplace for dinners and breakfasts and four bedrooms with bathroom. Finally, a garden overlooking the valley and which frames "The Hague".

The old barn has been transformed into a small, but efficient, technologically equipped oil mill to produce our organic oil from both whole and pitted olives. The main building, after a long and careful restoration, has returned to life while maintaining its original character.

On the ground floor the dairy where the milk produced by the flock is delivered to be transformed into ricotta, yogurt, fresh and aged cheeses was designed and built. The seasoning is done in a real stone cave recovered from the restoration.

The restaurant of La Dispensa with two internal rooms allows you to taste dishes made with the products of our farm and a careful selection of Tuscan products.

Upon request it is possible to organize guided educational visits inside the structure.
