Olio Intini

Experience, avant-garde production and protection of biodiversity distinguish the work of Frantoio Intini, a historic company founded in 1928 in Alberobello in the Murgia of Bari. The wisdom of four generations of millers, combined with the modern skills and innovative spirit of the young Pietro Intini offer us today what can be defined as one of the best extra virgin olive oils in the world.

Thanks to a rigorous selection of the raw material, the Intini Oil is now a natural product with high quality standards and competitively projected into the excellent food and wine market.

Safeguarding the heritage of biodiversity by protecting the cultivars of the territory are the company's missions and one of the flagships of Intini production is precisely the Cima di Mola cultivar, a native variety of the Apulian Murgia very widespread at the beginning of the twentieth century and unjustly downgraded for a long time. time.

With the precious support of the Slow Food community, the Intines have decided to re-propose and support the uniqueness and typicality of Cima di Mola Olio oil, increasingly appreciated and recognized worldwide, awarded by Slow Food with its highest recognition “Grande Olio”, and awarded the “Slow Food Presidium”. Olio Initni was the first company in Puglia to receive the "Slow Snail", for the protection and interpretation of the territory.
