Fratelli Lapietra Farm

It was 1990 when two brothers, Vincenzo and Pasquale, began their entrepreneurial career by collecting the inheritance of their father Antonio and older brother Giovanni. To fascinate the two young entrepreneurs are, in particular, modern and innovative agronomic techniques based on high density soilless cultivation.

Passion and innovation are still the focus of the Fratelli Lapietra farm which in Monopoli, in the province of Bari, grows tomatoes and cucumbers with a high standard of quality and an unmistakable taste.

Promptly collected and packaged in order not to alter their properties and characteristics (including the absence of nickel), Lapietra vegetables are grown with the hydroponic technique, a soilless cultivation system in which the earth is replaced by an inert substrate that receives the seeds. and which is irrigated with water rich in the nutrients and minerals necessary for the growth of a healthy plant.

Quality, innovation and sustainability: these are the objectives that the Company aims to achieve by bringing healthy products to your tables 365 days a year that stand out for their unmistakable organoleptic properties.

Through periodic analysis of the irrigation water and an optimal management of nutrients, they limit the Nickel absorption of the plants, almost completely eliminating its presence in the products.
